With the Firefox browser, you've got the ability to change the way Web pages appear on your screen. This function provides more flexibility and allows you to see the Web in a way that's easier, or simply more appealing. Changing fonts and colors could also be a convenient and time saving feature if you prefer seeing a link in a particular color, for example.

Change the Fonts and Colors in Firefox

  1. Step 1

Access the options for change. Mac users can hover the mouse over the word 'Firefox' in the top menu bar and click on it to engage the drop-down menu. Windows users should click Tools.

  2. Step 2

Click Preferences (Mac) or Options (Windows).

  3. Step 3

Click the Content icon. Look for the Fonts & Colors box.

  4. Step 4

Hit the 'Advanced' button next to the font options to open a new box with detailed choices for configuring fonts. Adjust the menu options according to your needs and make sure and uncheck the box that reads 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above' before clicking on the 'Ok' button.

  5. Step 5

Press the 'Colors' button to open the colors box. Now you can change the text, background and link colors to any of the colors within the available palette. Uncheck the box that reads 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above' and press 'Ok' to close the colors options.

  6. Step 6

Save the new options and preferences by clicking on the 'Ok' button for Windows users or simply closing the box if you're on a Mac.
