    Create Links in Amaya

  1. Step 1

Open the Amaya software program. Open the desired document you wish to work on or create a new document.

  2. Step 2

Highlight the text you want to make into a link by clicking and dragging your mouse over the text. You can also click your mouse on the text and use your keyboard to highlight the text.

  3. Step 3

Choose between several options to create links in Amaya. Either click on the 'Link' button in the XHTML side palette, select the 'Links' menu option and then click 'Create Or Change Link' or push 'Ctrl-1' on your keyboard (for Windows users).

  4. Step 4

Watch for the 'Attribute' box to pop open. This box will have a text area for you to type in either an external or internal link. A 'Browse' button to the right is also another option you can use to locate a file on your computer.

  5. Step 5

Fill in the desired address and then click 'Confirm' to create a link in your document.
