Install Netscape

1. Go to Netscape's Web page to find the newest version available to install (see Resources below).

2. Click on the 'Free Download' button.

3. Click the 'Save As' button in the prompt box.

4. Click on the link located in the Netscape Download Manager. This will appear in a pop-up window, so be sure to have your normal pop-up blockers temporarily turned off.

5. Click the 'Next' button to advance the installation.

6. Read the Terms and Conditions thoroughly. Click on the 'I Agree' option to mark that you agree to the terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be able to proceed to the downloading process.

7. Click 'Next' to continue the installation process.

8. Type your zip code into the field provided and then click 'Install' to install Netscape Navigator version 8.1.2.

Bookmark Pages From Your History Before Deleting the Cache

1. Click on a link in your history side bar to open any previously browsed page you want to save. You will want to save the links to any pages that you don't want to be lost when you delete the cache.

2. Click on the 'Bookmarks' tab.

3. Select 'Bookmark This Page.'

4. Type the name you prefer in the field and click the 'OK' button.

1. Click 'Tools' and select 'Options.'
