How to Find and Install Safari Add Ons and Tools
Macintosh users that run the Safari Web browser will often try to find and install software that offers add ons and tools for improving Safari's functionality and usefulness. Find Safari Add Ons and Tools

Open up your Safari Web browser and type 'Safari Add Ons' into the Google tool bar.

Browse through the search results for useful links and Web sites that offer downloadable Safari add ons and tools.

Download any add ons and tools that you think might be useful and save them onto your desktop.

Go to the Web site 'Version Tracker' (see Resources).

Type 'Safari' into the search field at the top left hand corner of your screen.

Browse through the list of utilities, add ons and tools that are available for download.

Click on ones that interest you and carefully read through the description of the software and the product requirements needed to run it.

Click on the 'Download Now' button and save the file on your desktop.
Install Your Add Ons and Tools

Go to the folder for one of the add ons or tools you have downloaded and double-click on it.

Locate the install icon and double-click on it.

You can download the latest version of Safari from the Download page on Apple's Web site (see Resources below).
An operating system of 10.4.2 or greater is needed in order to run Safari 2.0.1. If you are running OS 10.3, you will need to download Safari 1.0.

Although this guide is written for Safari 2.0.1, certain add ons and tools may only work with previous versions of Safari.
