Change the Navigation Toolbar With SeaMonkey

  1. Step 1

Become a SeaMonkey user by downloading and installing the program from the Mozilla SeaMonkey home page (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Add a different theme to change the Navigations Toolbar. Although you can't add or remove buttons from the navigation toolbar, you can change the overall appearance by applying a new theme.

  3. Step 3

Go to the View option on the toolbar and select Apply Theme from the drop down menu.

  4. Step 4

Click on 'Get New Themes' from the choices and download a theme from the Mozilla add-ons page.

  5. Customize the Personal Toolbar on Mozilla SeaMonkey

  6. Step 1

Open the Edit menu from the toolbar and click on the Preferences option.

  7. Step 2

Choose Navigation and select from the Navigation Toolbar or the Personal Toolbar.

  8. Step 3

Click the checkboxes next to the buttons you want to display on your toolbars.

  9. Add a Web Page to Your Personal Toolbar

  10. Step 1

Open a Web page in your browser by typing in the URL or selecting it from your bookmarks.

  11. Step 2

Drag and drop the icon next to the URL in the address bar to your personal toolbar. It is now accessible by clicking on it at any time.

  12. Step 3

Open your bookmarks folder. Click on the bookmark icon and drag it to the personal toolbar. Your individual bookmark will then be permanently added to your personal toolbar.

  13. Step 4

Left click on a folder or bookmark icon and choose Move Bookmark(s). Choose Personal Toolbar Folder from the Destination list.

  14. Step 5

Customize the personal toolbar by clicking and dragging the icons to where you want them or choose the Bookmarks option from the Navigation toolbar and click on the Manage Bookmarks menu to open a dialog box.

  15. Step 6

Click, drag and drop your toolbar elements to establish the order you want them to appear or add or delete items.
