You can find Camino add ons and tools at Pimp My Camino and at third party Web sites. Camino add ons and tools help you increase security or enhance Camino functionality.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Mac computer with Internet access
  • Camino Web browser

Find Camino Add Ons at Pimp My Camino

Step1
Surf over to the Pimp My Camino Web site (see Resources below).
Step2
Scroll to the bottom of the Pimp My Camino home page until you see the Categories list on the right.
Step3
Click on the 'Applications' link.
Step4
Read about the Camino add on applications available for download and installation.
Step5
Choose add ons that appeal to you. Add ons such as CaminIcon allow you to download and install additional Camino icons.
Step6
Select an application like Cookie Thief to enhance your ability to transfer cookies between Safari and Camino.
Step7
Click on the title of the add on you wish to download. An information page will come up.
Step8
Click your mouse on the title of the application in the upper left corner of the information page to download the application.
Step9
Install your new add on by dragging the icon to the applications folder and dropping it in.

Find and Install Camino Development Tools

Step1
Log onto the Pimp My Camino home page (see Resources below).
Step2
Scroll down the screen until you find the 'Development Tools' link under the Categories menu.
Step3
Click on the 'Development Tools' link. This will take you to an information page about the tool.
Step4
Click on the tool's title at the top of the page to download it.
Step5
Install the tool by dragging its icon to your applications folder.

Tips & Warnings

  • Go to the Camino Home Page to download the Camino Web browser (see Resources below).
  • Camino works with the Mac OS X operating system and is not compatible with PC operating systems. Your Mac should have 50 MB of free hard drive space and 128 MB of RAM for Camino to run.
  • The Camino Support page offers more help with Camino tools and add ons (see Resources below).
  • Simply click the 'Reset Camino' button on the toolbar to erase cookies for improved security.
  • These steps to find and install Camino add ons and tools were made for Camino version 1.0.4. The steps may not work effectively with earlier or later Camino versions.
