Things You'll Need:
- Computer with Internet access
- Access to classes in the techniques of your choice
-
Step 1
Read extensively on the power of self healing. You can start by reading an article on the 10 principles of self-healing at ImmuneSupport.com (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Stop all negative thoughts. This can be challenging, especially at the beginning. The more you practice, the better you'll become.
-
Step 3
Rid yourself of stress and worries. Negative feelings may impair your ability to self heal.
-
Step 4
Find a relaxing place to meditate. Take the time every day to reflect and concentrate on the good in your life.
-
Step 5
Begin by being grateful for what you have. Even if you're sick, be thankful you're alive right now. Appreciate that you have this opportunity to move forward. A gratitude journal, in which you list 3 things every day that are good in your life, can be a powerful tool for self healing.
-
Step 6
Close your eyes and envision yourself in a moment of happiness and health.
-
Step 7
Sense every part of your body. Visualize your healthy self from inside and out.
-
Step 8
Practice visualization in the morning before you start your day and at night before you go to sleep.
-
Step 1
Find centers that offer Kundalini yoga and/or Reiki. The "Kundalini Yoga" Web site has links to more information about reiki, Kundalini yoga and other techniques for achieving self-empowerment (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Choose the practice that calls to you most. Kundalini is a physical self healing practice. Reiki employs a healer to promote self healing energies within you.
-
Step 3
Find a center and take a class.
