How to Customize Your Friendster Profile

Social networking sites like Friendster let you distinguish yourself from other Web surfers by allowing you to customize your online presence with ease. With profiles that you can customize with words, images and music, Friendster lets you express yourself as uniquely as you want. Follow these steps to find out how.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  • Friendster profile

    Use Pre-made Skins to Decorate Your Profile

  1. Step 1

    Sign in to Friendster (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Click "Edit Profile."

  3. Step 3

    Fill out the information under the "Main" tab, like your interests, hobbies and tastes.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Customize."

  5. Step 5

    Select a pre-made skin for your profile by clicking the "Select" button below the layout you want. Your profile will be instantly updated.

  6. Use a CSS Code Generator to Change Your Profile

  7. Step 1

    Click "Customize" and look for the heading that reads "Customize CSS." By changing the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), you can create a profile page that expresses what you want.

  8. Step 2

    Click on the "Customize With CSS Editor" link. You'll be taken to "Michael's Friendster Profile Editor."

  9. Step 3

    Fill out all of the parameters for your site, like transparency, text color and button graphics.

  10. Step 4

    Click on the "Generate Code" button. The CSS code you want will fill the text field.

  11. Step 5

    Copy this text onto your computer's virtual clipboard.

  12. Step 6

    Go back to your Friendster profile and paste the CSS code into the field following the "Customize CSS" header.

  13. Step 7

    Click "Save." Your profile will be updated.

  14. Customize Your Profile Using CSS

  15. Step 1

    Click "Customize" and look for the heading that reads "CSS."

  16. Step 2

    Click the "Download CSS File" link. A new browser window will open. It will have all of the divisions of your profile that can be customized.

  17. Step 3

    Copy and paste the CSS information into the text field following the "Customize CSS" header. Here, you can alter the CSS code to modify everything from background to borders, provided you know how to edit CSS.

  18. Step 4

    Click the "Save" button. Your profile will be updated.

i just wanted to put some tiny designs on it ulike
my friend's name,there's a tiny note design before
and after his name..and some other names when you
enter to their profile,you may see their name sometimes
upside down or like i said,,with some designs on it..
please reply..
