How to Add Music to Your Friendster Profile

Taste in music is typically one of the ways people define themselves. For people who want to share their music with others or for people who want to learn about different kinds of music, Friendster makes things easy. Follow these steps to find out how to add music to your Friendster profile.

• Flash MP3 player
• Computer with Internet access
• Songs in MP3 form stored online
• Friendster profile

Get the Code for an MP3 Flash Player

1. Visit a third-party Web site that has HTML code for an MP3 Flash player (see Resources below).

2. Choose the skin for the player you want on your profile. Look for something that complements your style and layout.

3. Enter the URL locations for the MP3s you want on your play list.

4. Have the site generate the HTML code. Typically, this is done by clicking on a button or link that says "Generate Code." The code should populate in a text field that you can highlight.

5. Copy the HTML code onto your computer's clipboard.

Add the MP3 Flash Player to Your Friendster Profile

6. Log in to your Friendster profile by visiting the Friendster home page and entering your email address and password (see Resources below). Then click the "Sign In" button to get to your profile.

7. Click "Edit Profile."

8. Click on the "Customize" tab.

9. Find the "Add Media" field and paste your MP3 Flash player code into the following field.

10. Click the "Save" button. Your profile will be updated.

11. View your profile. Your MP3 Flash player will be located in the "Now Playing" section of your profile with your songs ready to play. It's time to start rocking out with your friends!
