Create an Account at eHow

Step1
Go to the home page for eHow (see Resources below). There, you can start your free membership.

Click on "My Account." This will lead you to another page, where you can select the "Sign Up" command.

Fill out the information provided. Select a username and password for your account.
Step4
Accept the eHow "Terms and Conditions" after you read them. Check the appropriate box to signal that you have read and understand them. Enter the correct verification code and press "Submit."

Set up and Create an eHow Profile

Choose "My Profile" to start.
Step2
Choose a display name. You have the option to be known at eHow by your username or by your real name. Check the box to select your choice.

Create an avatar, an image that will appear next to your online name. Select the "Browse" option. Browse through your current photos and upload an image.

Tips & Warnings

  • Change the password every couple of months for additional security. Increase your security by creating a password that's a combination of both letters and numbers. As required by eHow, your password must be longer than 6 characters.
