How to Find Travel Information Using eHow

Plan your next vacation, find traveler tips and learn how to get around your desired destination with unlimited access to the eHow article database. Follow these steps to find out how.

• Computer with Internet service

Register to Become an eHow Member

1. Go to the eHow home page and click "Register" to start the registration process (see Resources below).
2. Select a unique username for your eHow account. Type yours in the "Username" field and then click the "Check Availability" button to see if it is. If not, you'll be asked to create another. Select a password.
3. Fill in your name, address, birthday, gender and email address information in the labeled text boxes.
4. Click the check box to have the "eHow Article of the Day" emailed to you daily, if you want.
5. Go over the "Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" conditions for membership and use of the eHow database. If you agree with the stated policy and conditions, click the "I Have Read And Agree To Terms Of Use And Privacy Policy" check box.
6. Analyze the "Word Verification" code very carefully. Type the correct letter and/or number code in the "Word Verification" field. Keep in mind that the codes are case sensitive.

Find Travel Information Using eHow

7. Visit the eHow home page and locate the "Travel Information" button.
8. Click the arrow on the "Travel Information" button to reveal a drop-down menu of the "Destinations," "Transportation," "Travel Preparation," "Travel Tips" and "Types of Travelers" links. Click on the desired link of your choice to go directly to each category page. This option will take you directly to the articles you want to browse.
9. Click the entire "Travel Information" button to go directly to the entire "Travel Information" section. You'll see each travel category title and link, a brief overview and popular articles for each category.
10. Click the category title link you want to browse. You'll find titles like "Destinations," "Transportation" and "Travel Tips." Once you click on one, you'll be directed to the main page of that category section.
11. Browse the listed articles on the category page to see if they're relevant. If not, click the "Next" button to proceed to the next page of articles.
12. Click the links for specific sub-categories listed with the article pages to narrow down your search. If you're in the "Destinations" section, narrow down your search by clicking the area-specific category links like "Europe" or "North America."
