Sometimes you'll ask a great question on Answerbag or provide an answer you're really proud of. In addition to getting positive ratings and increasing your point total, you can now share your Answerbag intelligence, wit or humor with your blog readers or Web site visitors. Follow these steps to find out how.

Register as an Answerbag User to Ask and Answer Questions

Step1
Go to the Answerbag home page to get started (see Resources below).
Step2
Click on the "Register" link.
Step3
Create your Answerbag nickname and enter your email address. Create a password and agree to the terms of service.
Step4
Personalize your profile by adding an avatar and providing information about yourself.

Ask and Answer Questions to Raise Your Answerbag Level and Status

Step1
Pose questions for Answerbag users. If your question is considered a good one, you'll receive positive ratings.
Step2
Answer questions posed by Answerbag users. Provide responses to questions you know the answer to or have experience with. Good, helpful answers will receive points from other users.

Share Your Questions and Answers with Visitors to Your Site

Step1
Go to the "Widgets" link on the home page to create a widget to post on your Web site or blog. In this way, you can share your Answerbag questions and answers with your readers.
Step2
Click on the "Get Your Widget Now" link to build a widget for your site.
Step3
Choose whether you want to display questions, answers or both.
Step4
Create a custom widget and ask a question of your readers if you choose "Ask Only" from the drop-down menu. If you choose "Questions Only," your widget will include between 3 and 10 questions from the Answerbag site.
Step5
Choose "Ask and Answer" to allow visitors to your site to answer questions or ask their own.
Step6
Determine if you want questions to be from a specific category. If you want visitors to see your questions and answers, choose "Posted By A Specific Member" from the drop-down menu and provide your nickname.
Step7
Highlight and paste the HTML code in the text box and add it to your blog or Web site to share Answerbag with your guests.

  • Your visitors will need to register at Answerbag before they can ask or answer a question.
  • Choosing to feature your questions and answers on your blog or Web site could compromise your anonymity when asking questions.
