Tips & Warnings

  • Remember that Yahoo keeps tabs on your visits when you're maneuvering through their Web site. You are not anonymous as you request specific pages or respond to contest and survey offers. Yahoo says they will use this information to send you solicitations geared toward the same consumer profile as the products and/or services your Internet history with Yahoo shows you've already previewed.

  • Guard personal information on third party gaming Web sites affiliated with Yahoo, since Yahoo will not claim responsibility for your security at those Web sites.

  • Some games are hosted by outside sponsors/vendors. You may need to be over 18 to play these games of skill. Some countries, including the United States, allow individuals to play for money. In the United States, however, there are many states that won't allow money to change hands. When you register to play, your zip code will determine whether you live in an area where this is legal.
