How to Play Board Games on Yahoo Games

Yahoo Games offers a variety of styles and game titles from which to choose. If board games are your passion, you're in luck because Yahoo has dedicated an entire section of their Games page to you. With Yahoo Games, you can play classic board games online or try out new and inventive board games. You can also play by yourself or seek out interactive board games on Yahoo.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  • Yahoo account

    Play Board Games With Yahoo Games

  1. Step 1

    Go to Yahoo 'Games' from the Yahoo home page (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Click on the 'Board' button from the toolbar with gaming options. Click on 'View All' to see all of the options available to you. Choose the game you'd like to play by clicking on its title.

  3. Step 3

    Choose which board you'd like to use, if given that option. For example, Chess has multiple options (wood, tournament style) and Checkers has one.

  4. Step 4

    Choose a skill level. Most games will have multiple skill levels available to choose as well, ranging from 'Beginner' to 'Expert.'

  5. Step 5

    Invite other gamers currently online to play with you. A box will appear on the screen with a list of gamer code names, indicating whether or not they are currently online. You can invite someone from the list to play by clicking their name and selecting 'Invite.'

  6. Step 6

    Block specific individuals from playing with you online by clicking on their screen name and selecting 'Block.'
