How to Install Yahoo Music Jukebox

The Yahoo Music Jukebox lets you enjoy the music you love and discover new artists from your personal computer. Loaded with extra features and programmed to perform, the Yahoo Music Jukebox is a free service for Yahoo members and easy to install.

• Computer with Internet access

Locate, Launch and Install Yahoo Music Jukebox

1. Go to the Yahoo Music Web site (see Resources below).

2. Hover your mouse over the "Downloads" tab, then click on "Free Player." This will take you to the Yahoo Music Jukebox launch page.

3. Make sure no other programs are running on your computer, then click on the button that says 'Install Free.' A window should appear asking whether you want to proceed with the installation. Select 'Run.'

4. Click 'Next' in each window as you are guided through the Yahoo Music Installation process. You will be given options to download other Yahoo tools along the way. Check the boxes of additional services you'd like to simultaneously download to your computer, such as Instant Messenger features, and continue.

5. Read the License Agreements, then select 'I Agree' and click the 'Next' button. The installation will begin and should take less than 5 minutes to complete, depending on your connection speed.

6. Select or deselect boxes in the last window of the installation process to choose default settings. Leave the "Launch Yahoo Music Jukebox" box checked then click "Finished" to exit the installation process.

7. Proceed through the Yahoo Music Jukebox Setup Wizard, which will automatically start when Yahoo Music Jukebox launches by clicking the "Next" button.

8. Choose whether you would like for existing music on your computer to be automatically added to your Yahoo Music Jukebox library or not. You can always add them manually later, but it's easier to authorize it at this phase of the process if you'll want them added.

9. Complete the Setup Wizard, when you are ready, by clicking the "Finish" button.

10. Explore your new Yahoo Music Jukebox and customize it to best suit your needs. You can set Yahoo Music Jukebox as your default music player and organize your music there as your collection grows. Visit the Help section for tutorials on how to download songs, get recommendations based on your music tastes and other features made to tailor your experience with Yahoo Music Jukebox.

11. Click on the 'Help' menu on any Yahoo page for support after the installation process. It also helps to view the list of Frequently Asked Questions, also located in the Help section (see Resources below).

Tips & Warnings

• Never download Yahoo Jukebox from ads or emails that don't come directly from Yahoo's Web site. Fake programs offered through third parties may harm your computer or be used to hack into other Internet accounts.
