Tips & Warnings
  • It will require a bit more patience, but it is best to burn CDs at the lowest possible speed setting. This makes the likelihood of a skip much smaller, ensuring a much higher quality burn. Most CD-Rs are capable of burning CDs at 1X speed, which can take 20 minutes or more.
  • If Jukebox isn't working properly on your computer, find out about software or hardware conflicts from Yahoo Answers (see Resources below).
  • Don't burn or pirate music that you do not own. There are severe penalties for pirating music or other forms of intellectual property.
  • Avoid songs that are under 128 Kbps encoding. Songs below this level of quality sound poor, and the problem is only heightened when played from a CD or through good speakers.
  • Secure your music and privacy by choosing a Yahoo password that would be difficult for others to guess.
