How to Listen to Yahoo Music Radio

Listening to music is all well and good, but there are times when you want to hear something fresh and new! Having a constant stream of new music means either having to buy it or listen to the radio. Fortunately, with Yahoo Music Radio, you can hear all the music you want, all day long, for free. You can even download songs you like and keep them when you find one you want to add to your collection.

Find Great Music Using Yahoo Music Radio

1. Proceed to the Yahoo Music Web site (see Resources below) and sign in using your account information in the 'Sign In' link. You will need to create an account at this time by clicking on the 'Sign Up' link if you haven't done so already.

2. Click the 'LAUNCHcast Radio' button to head to the Yahoo Music Radio's main page. From here, you'll see a list of all of the music channels currently offered by Yahoo.

3. Choose one of the stations by clicking on its link. For example, you could click 'Country Music' to listen to the country music radio station.

4. Choose the payment option you'd like to use to pay for your Yahoo Music Radio subscription. You can either pay for a year upfront or you can pay monthly. Either way, you're given a 7-day free trial to choose whether you want to continue your service.

5. Listen to different stations by clicking on their titles in the navigation pane.

Tips & Warnings

• Turn off unnecessary applications while running the Yahoo Music Radio. It requires a lot of system resources, which can affect performance on an unprepared computer.
• Adjust the volume control on the Yahoo Music Radio player before you adjust your system's volume.
• If music is not playing properly or your Internet connection is not working, head to Yahoo Answers for help (see Resources below).
• Turn the volume down at work, particularly if you're playing music that contains explicit lyrics.
• Be careful when you choose to download songs that you don't delete them before you've had a chance to burn them. You'll be required to pay for the download a second time otherwise.
• Don't let other people access your music or Yahoo Radio account without permission. Music piracy is considered a major crime, so keep your password hidden at all times.
