How to Download Yahoo Music Videos

Yahoo Music offers an extensive library of favorite and popular music. With literally thousands of songs and artists to choose from, it's tough to miss out on the best music. With Yahoo Music, it's also possible to download your favorite music videos to watch right on your computer. It's free to use for all Yahoo members, and new videos are added daily.

Create a Yahoo Account

1. Proceed to the Yahoo home page to create your Yahoo account (see Resources below).

2. Click the 'Sign Up' button to begin the account creation process.

3. Fill in all of the required information, then pick a screen name and password. Your choice for a screen name might already be taken, so consider a few options.

4. Click the 'Submit' link to make your account active.

5. Visit the Yahoo Music Web site to begin your search for music videos (see Resources below).

6. Sign in to your Yahoo account by clicking the 'Sign In' link. Once done, you will automatically be redirected to the Yahoo Music home page.

7. Move your mouse over the 'Music Videos' menu bar. This will display a drop-down list with multiple search options for finding music videos.

8. Click on the music video option that best suits your parameters. For example, you can download the most popular current music videos by clicking the 'Top 100' menu option.

9. Search for music videos from the lists that appear, and click on the one that matches your request. This will automatically download the video into a separate browser for you to watch.

Tips & Warnings

• Check back frequently to see what new videos have been released. In some cases, music videos become available online before they're available via television or your favorite music video channel.
• Be sure to install the latest version of all your multimedia software. Upgrades help improve performance and visual quality.

• If you're listening to music on a public computer, make sure you sign out of your Yahoo account and close your Web browser when you're done. If you don't, you risk letting another user have access to your email account and other sensitive information.
