Download Screensavers for SINA Mobile Phones

  1. Step 1

Find the homepage of the SINA Mobile Web site (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Click on the 'Wallpapers' tab. You'll see a list of thumbnail images representing available screensavers, each accompanied by a price. Each screensaver is also given a star rating that represents its popularity with users. Browse for screensavers by clicking through the list of page numbers.

  3. Step 3

Click the 'More Info' button for a screensaver to see a short description along with a list of compatible phones. Make sure your device is listed before clicking the 'Buy' button.

  4. Step 4

Enter your phone number without using spaces or punctuation. From the drop-down menus, select your phone device. Choose to download your screensaver via Mobile Web Access. Indicate your agreement to the terms of purchase by checking the appropriate box. Hit 'Continue' to complete your transaction or 'Shopping' if you'd like to purchase additional screensavers.

  5. Step 5

Give your payment information and confirm the purchase. A link to your new wallpaper/screensaver will be sent to your phone via SMS.

  6. Step 6

Pull up the text message from SINA. Follow the link included in the message to gain access to your purchase.

  7. Step 7

Check the Screensavers or Wallpapers menu on your mobile phone. (You can usually find this under your Settings or Profile.) Highlight your new screensaver to make it the background for your phone.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can't get your screensaver to download properly, try reading through the FAQ page on the SINA Mobile Web site (see Resources below).
  • Most screensavers available for download are acceptable for all audiences. Parents should, however, be aware of what their children are downloading, as some images have sexual or violent overtones.
  • Download alternatives are subject to change without notice.
  • Avoid purchasing screensavers for phones on a public computer. If you must enter your credit card information, be sure to clear the browser's history before leaving the station.
