Prepare for the dark chocolate experience. Get rid of any other smells in the room around you. The less distraction while you eat dark chocolate, the better.

  3. Step 3

Get rid of any other leftover tastes in your mouth. Completely clean out your palate by drinking water or eating lettuce or an apple slice.

  4. Step 4

Place the chocolate on your tongue and let it melt. This will allow the cocoa to be tasted evenly throughout your mouth.

  5. Step 5

Savor the flavor. If you are a big dark chocolate fan, observe the taste and texture as the chocolate melts in your mouth.
