Step 1
Contact your family doctor or a heart surgeon or cardiologist. Ask them about the new techniques recently developed in open-heart surgeries. Inform the doctor whether you are inquiring for yourself or for a relative or friend. Be specific while seeking information. For example, when asking for new techniques in open-heart surgery for children, the methods will be different depending on the age and child's condition.
