If you and your former classmates, old friends, or family members love to ski, holding a reunion at a ski resort may be the perfect idea for your group. It is not easy to organize reunions at a ski resort, but you can make the process easier if you follow these step by step instructions.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Entertainment
  • Seating and tables
  • Caterers
  • Decorations
  • Invitations
  • Resort reservations

Step1
Choose a ski resort for your reunion. This might be somewhere near your homes, a resort you've visited in the past, or simply somewhere you've always wanted to visit.
Step2
Book a hall at the resort for a reunion party. It is best to choose an indoor location, although having an outdoor terrace may also be a great idea if the weather is warm enough.
Step3
Block off rooms for reunion-goers at the ski resort.
Step4
Send out invitations asking people to RSVP by a certain date. Include resort information.
Step5
Plan ski activities in which reunion-goers may or may not want to participate. Include things like hitting the slopes, taking lessons or snow tubing.
Step6
Hire entertainment for your reunion night, such as a live band or a D.J.
Step7
Once the RSVP date has passed, hire a caterer for the reunion. You may also want to hire a bartender.
Step8
Rent seating, tables, and decorations if necessary.
Step9
Arrive at the ski resort at least a day ahead of everyone else to set up for the reunion.

Tips & Warnings

  • Arrive at the ski resort at least a day ahead of everyone else to set up for the reunion.
  • Make a contingency plan that includes activities for poor weather.
