As with any other gaming console, the Sony PSP has plenty of accessory options. You can buy extra data storage, headphones or a headset, adaptors for use in the car, and a carrying case among other things.

    Check out the full range of accessories at the official Sony PSP Web site.

  2. Step 2

    Look at the available accessories and determine which ones are of interest to you.

  3. Step 3

    Buy extra Memory Sticks if you want to use your PSP to store music or saved game files for long periods of time, or if you want to be able to back up saved game data.

  4. Step 4

    If you commute to work or school, or frequently travel for long periods, an extended life battery is a good option.

  5. Step 5

    Buy a headset if you regularly play PSP games online—the headset will allow you to communicate with other players when playing compatible games.

  6. Step 6

    Get a carrying case if you like to take your PSP everywhere you go! The carrying case has room for the entire PSP system as well as UMDs and Memory Sticks.
