How to Play Streaming Audio With the PSP

If your PSP is connected to the Internet via a wireless network, you can listen to audio streams on your PSP. To do this you’ll first need to add RSS channels to your PSP.

Things You'll Need:

  • Memory Stick Duo
  • Sony PSP
  • Wireless network connection

    Adding RSS Channels

  1. Step 1

    Load up the PSP Web browser.

  2. Step 2

    Choose “Network” on the "Home” menu.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the “Internet Browser” option.

  4. Step 4

    Navigate to a Web site that contains RSS content.

  5. Step 5

    Select the RSS icon and then press “X.”

  6. Step 6

    Select “Yes” and then press “X” at the confirmation screen.

  8. Step 1

    Turn on the “WLAN” switch on your PSP.

  9. Step 2

    Choose “Network” from the “Home” menu.

  10. Step 3

    Select the “RSS Channel” option then press “X.”

  11. Step 4

    Choose a channel to listen to and then press “X.”

  12. Step 5

    Select a connection and then press “X.”

  13. Step 6

    Wait while the PSP connects to the Internet and checks for updates.

  14. Step 7

    Choose an item to listen to and then press “X” to start listening.

Tips & Warnings
  • The RSS channels you select are saved on your Memory Stick Duo.
  • The list of items available on the Web pages you’ve selected is updated when you connect to the Internet on your PSP.
