How to Browse the Internet With Your PSP

If you have access to a wireless network connection, you can set up your PSP to browse the Internet and download PSP content. Once you’ve got the network connection set up, it’s easy to connect.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Sony PSP
• Wireless network connection

1. Turn on the “WLAN” switch on your PSP when you are in range of a wireless access point.

2. Select the “Network” option on the “Home” menu.

3. Select the “Internet Browser” option and then press “X.”

4. Use the Up and Down direction buttons to select the address bar.

5. Press the Circle button to display the onscreen keyboard.

6. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter a Web address.

7. Select the “Enter” key and then press button “X.”

8. Select a connection and then press “X” to display the Web page.

Tips & Warnings

• Switching the input mode to “Web Address Shortcuts” will save you some time when entering Web site addresses. This mode assigns keys to common URL domains such as .com and .html so you don’t have to type them out.
• To close an Internet connection, press the circle button, select “Yes” and then press the “X” button.
• You must be within range of a wireless access point to be able to connect to the Internet using your PSP.
