Tips & Warnings
If you lose your printer installation disk, you can usually download drivers for your printer at the manufacturer's Web site.
It's always a good idea to check the manufacturer's Web site periodically for driver updates if your printer does not have an automatic update feature. Every 6 months is usually frequent enough.
If you're adding a printer to your home network, you must install the printer drivers on every computer that will use the printer.
Many printers do not come with cables. Before you buy a printer, check the box to see if you need to buy a cable separately.
