Tell the doctor your medical history. Request that the doctor check your skin problem to decide the line of treatment.

Inform the dermatologist about any skin treatment you have taken before.

Go in for microdermabrasion if you suffer from any of these skin problems: enlarged pores, sun spots, acne scars and blemishes, blotchy skin, uneven skin texture and tone, stretch marks, white and blackheads, excessive oily skin, age spots and bleeding areas.

Note that this treatment may not be suitable for you if you are suffering from diabetes, fragile capillaries, active acne, eczema, undiagnosed lesions, dermatitis, autoimmune disorders or psoriasis.

Understand that you may not have a permanent improvement in the quality of skin. It may take several treatment to see results which vary from patient to patient.

Go in for this treatment only when you are ready to spend more time on skin care. For example, you will have to mothodically apply sunscreen and avoid using heavy makeup.

on 8/25/2007 i bought this neutrogena microdermabrasion... but in steps using itm it doesnt specify if you need to wash warm water (to open the pores) or cold water (to close the pores before you used the kit. please tell me what it is supposed to be. thank you.
