How to Add Friends in LiveJournal

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer with Internet access

1. Log in to your LiveJournal account. If you don't have an account, click "Create an Account" and follow the steps.
2. Click on "Friends" from the navigation bar at the top.
3. Click on "Add Friends."
4. Type in the username of the friend you want to add. Make sure you enter the name exactly, complete with spacing and numbers.
5. Click "Save Changes." You should now be able to view their journals when you click "View Friends."

Tips & Warnings

• LiveJournal usernames are embedded in the URL. For example, if the URL is http://jakjon.livejournal.com, the person's username is JakJon.
• You can invite friends that do not have LiveJournal accounts by clicking "Invite New Friends." You'll be added to their friend list as soon as they sign up.
