A classified ad can be a terrific way to propose. Your girlfriend will certainly be surprised and excited to find your proposal in the classified ads of the local paper. Plus, she will have this tangible reminder of her engagement as a keepsake.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Contact a newspaper and order the ad.
2. On or after the day it runs, bring the newspaper with you when you next see your intended.
3. Pretend to be browsing the classifieds for some item. Midway through your search, act as if you just found an unbelievable deal and ask her to read it.
4. Hand her the newspaper and point to the box containing your proposal. Have the ring ready.
5. Decide on the wording for the proposal. You need her to recognize the proposal is for her.
