Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Click on "View Menu" on the toolbar at the top of your screen. Scroll to and click on the "Table Toolbar" link. Click the button on the far left of the table toolbar to create your table.
Step2
Move through your table using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Enter the text and titles for your rows and columns first. After the text is entered you can enter numerical information.
Step3
Add rows when needed by using your table toolbar. Highlight the row above where you want to add a new row. When the row is highlighted, click on the "Insert Row" button on the table toolbar.
Step4
Click on the "Format Table" button on the table toolbar after you have finished entering the information into the table. The format table lets you to change the appearance of the table.
Step5
Make sure all the information is entered correctly and the table is formatted the way you want it. Save the document when you are finished and close the program.
