How to upload or share a video and make money

The popularity of uploading videos and publishing them to your website or blog is well documented, but many people don't know how easy it is to make money by uploading or sharing (syndicating) a video. The answer is a great service platform called Revver that offers easy to use tools to upload and publish not only your own videos, but some of the most popular viral videos online. Things You'll Need:

• A mac or PC with an internet connection
• A video that you created or have a license to redistribute (for copyright related questions refer to Revver's website)
• The video must be less than 100MB and not hateful or pornographic
• The video can be an MOV, MPEG, MP4, WMV, ASF, or AVI including DIVX.

2. Set up an account

3. Click "upload" and follow the instructions

4. Add "meta data" (descriptive language, title, etc.)

5. Use Sharing tools to publish 1 or hundreds of videos to your website, blog, community page etc.

Tips & Warnings

• The key to making money with your own videos as well as others in the Revver library is to actively share or syndicate them to drive viewers to the clip. Revver provides an array of tools to facilitate this from a "send to a friend" function and simple "grab codes" for embedding a single video on a web page to widgets, and even a full blown API that allows you to build a fully branded video portal.
• Revver inserts advertisements at the end of each video and pays you 20% if you share someone else's work and 1/2 of their profit for your own videos. If you create and video and share the video you keep 60%!
• You must be logged in whenever grabbing videos to share. Unless you use a URL or tool when logged in you will not be credited as the "Sharer" and not paid.
• Be truthful in how you describe the video
• Try to upload videos that people actually want to watch.
• Videos that are less than 1-2 minutes get the most complete views and thus have the greatest chance of getting the ad served and click. This is how you get paid.

on 3/13/2009 to answer kickers here...i personally own a few cannons... one is a ZR 100 purchased new for $100.00 and the other is a cannon ZR 600 purchased for $200.00. They have supported my video uploading for 5 years now with no issues!
