How to Propose on Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is a very romantic time to propose. Everyone is filled with anticipation of the holiday. Even if your girlfriend suspects a proposal is coming, she is likely to expect it on Christmas Day rather than Christmas Eve. If you would like to propose on Christmas Eve, follow these steps.
Instructions
-
-
1
Decide the location for the proposal. Will it be at the church after the midnight service? Maybe the park covered in a blanket of snow is the perfect spot.
-
2
Be sure your girlfriend will be with you when you want to propose. Be certain she does not have family obligations during that time.
-
-
3
Purchase the ring.
-
4
Put the ring in a secure location where your girlfriend is not likely to find it.
-
5
Write down what you plan to say during the proposal.
-
6
Practice your speech on a daily basis until Christmas Eve.
-
7
Put the ring in your pocket or other secure location before you leave.
-
8
When you are proposing, do not worry if you forget what you wrote and practiced in steps five and six. Instead, just focus on what you want to say at the moment.

Wonderful idea to propose on Christmas Eve, after Midnight Mass. Very romantic, with all those stars, moonlight, and candles at the service. I still think it's better for the couple to shop for the ring together afterwards though. After all, she may have been thinking "I can't dump him NOW - it's Christmas! I'll just wait till January . . ." -
