Many people would like to propose in Spanish for various reasons. Maybe your girlfriend is a native Spanish speaker or maybe you met your girlfriend in Spanish class in college. Whatever the reason, follow these steps if you would like to propose to your girlfriend in Spanish.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Write down everything you would like to say in your proposal. However, be sure to keep the proposal short if you do not know much Spanish and will need to memorize every syllable.
Step2
Rather than depending on a translation dictionary or computer program, seek the help of someone fluent in both Spanish and English.
Step3
Spend time everyday working on memorizing the proposal.
Step4
If your girlfriend does not know any Spanish, you will need to devise a plan for letting her know what you are saying. You could simply say the proposal in Spanish and then in English. Or, you could be more creative.
Step5
When you are ready to leave for the proposal, read over your speech one last time.
Step6
Don't forget the ring!
Step7
If you forget the speech, just say it in English. The moment will be one you will look back on and laugh about in the future.
Step8
A celebration at a local tapas bar is the perfect way to celebrate your proposal.
