Things You'll Need:
- Old clothing
- Your old kitchen cabinets and doors
- Paint brushes or rollers
- Screwdriver or drill
- Clothes
- New hardware (optional)
- Paint
- Sander
- Painter's tape
- Primer

Step 1
Use a screwdriver to remove the cabinet doors at the hinges.

Remove the hinges completely and store in a safe place.

Remove the metal fixtures.

Use a sander to remove excess old paint.

Tape off the cabinets so you don't get paint on your walls.

Prime the cabinets and doors with a base coat in a color slightly lighter than your final color if necessary.

Paint your cabinets and doors the final colors with even strokes.

Clean up drips as they appear, these will be harder to remove if you allow them to dry.

Apply a second coat if needed or touch up missed spots.

Allow cabinets and doors to dry completely.

Step 11
Affix your metal fixtures to their original places the reattach the doors.
