How to do a Kickflip on a skateboard

Before you learn how to Kickflip, you should learn how to ollie. Don't get frusterated on the kickflip because it is one of the most hardest tricks to learn

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a skateboard, a straight road like a street road with not a lot of cars coming by
  1. Step 1

    THE STANCE

    your front foot should be just below the front bolts with the heel sticking out of the board and a little bit slanted.
    Your back foot should be in the middle of the tail

  2. Step 2

    THE TAP

    tap the tail

  3. Step 3

    THE FLICK

    slide your front foot a little bit and flick it out of the board so the board flips

  4. Step 4

    FLIP THE BOARD

    now as the board is spinning, put your feet over it so that you don't bother it. When it flips a full kickflip put your feet back on the board.

  5. Step 5

    THE LANDING

    now that you have both feet on the board, land it and bend your legs

Tips & Warnings
  • Bend your legs when your about jump so that you get a good clean pop
  • This may take up to 4 months to learn so don't get frustrated
  • Skateboarding is a very dangerous sport that could result into serious injury or possibly death

on 4/17/2007 I have a skateboard, and I haven't touched it in awhile, but seeing your article makes me want to go out and start doing some tricks on my board. Awesome stuff.
