Selling a boat on eBay can be very easy, since it puts you in touch with many more potential buyers than you’ll find in the local newspaper. The eBay site is very user-friendly, so even if you don't have much computer knowledge, you won’t have much trouble listing your boat.

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Pictures of your boat
  • An eBay account

Step3
Put a fresh coat of pain on your boat. This will attract more buyers.

Take pictures of your boat. Try to get the boat from every angle. At least three to five pictures are recommended.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can list a reserve price if you don't want to sell your boat for less than a certain amount of money.
  • The more information you list about your boat, the more bidders you’ll get and the higher people will bid.
  • Always wait for payments to clear before giving your item to the buyer.
