Direct your qi to where allergies manifest themselves. The basic notion of qigong is that your own internal energy can be focused on a specific problem to alleviate it. For example, if exposure to your pet cat makes your eyes itchy, direct your attention to your eyes and imagine them functioning without irritation.

Stand upright and pay close attention to your posture. Energy flows from outside the body inward and it is critical that your posture facilitate this rather than hinder it.

Store your energy. Qigong not only increases energy flow in the short term, but it enables you to store energy for use later. This will help you combat allergies all the time, not just during your qigong practice.

Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles and patterns. Qigong is less structured than its cousin Tai Chi, and while certain forms are better for certain things, each of us is different and you should find the form that you most enjoy.
