Create a New Station by Artist

Step1
Click the 'Create New Station' link on Pandora Tuner, located on the Pandora.com homepage (see Resources below).
Step2
Type in a song title or name of an artist.
Step3
Listen to the selection Pandora plays, then click 'Guide Us' to vote on new music as it is being added to your station. 'Guide Us' gives you the option to accept or reject a song, and by clicking 'Zzz' you can suspend a song from your playlist for 1 month. You can also find out what musical qualities made Pandora.com select this song for your station. Click the '+' button to add more like it.
Step4
Run your mouse over the icon of the artist of the song playing as another way to vote, and click the 'Menu' button to bookmark the selection, find out biographical information about the artist, or buy the song through iTunes or Amazon.
Step5
Create another station by clicking the 'Create New Station' button on the same page as your list of stations. You may store up to 100 stations at a time.
Step6
Edit or delete a station at any time by clicking the triangle to the right of the station name on the Pandora Tuner.

Create a QuickMix Shuffle

Step1
Mix up your selection by clicking the 'QuickMix' button on the same page as your station list.
Step2
Select the stations you want to shuffle.
Step3
Click 'Listen Now' or 'Cancel.'
Step4
Vote on songs as they are played to create your 'QuickMix.' You may store 1 'QuickMix' in addition to your 100 stations.

Tips & Warnings

  • Skip songs without voting by clicking the 'Fast-Forward' button on the Pandora Tuner. You are allowed 6 skips per hour on each station.
  • Read artist biographies by clicking 'Backstage Search' on the Pandora.com homepage. Select 'Artist' and type in a name. You can also click 'Create A Station' directly from an artist's biography page.
  • Review your station's definition by clicking the triangle next to the station name on the Pandora Tuner and selecting 'Edit this Station.'
  • Review the FAQ page on Pandora.com's Web site to find out why you can't play a song more than once each hour, listen to a song on demand, or rewind a song (see Resources below).
  • Be aware that adding more music to a station expands the range of that station and can change its definition.
  • Read the Parental Advisory on the 'Terms of Use' page by clicking the 'Privacy and Terms' link on Pandora's homepage. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, Pandora suggests reviewing these terms with your parents.
