Tips & Warnings

  • Sign up for a 14-day trial membership. Though you don't require one to find trails by name at Trails.com, your ability to access the complete breadth of your results will be limited if you don't. You'll need a MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit card to reserve your trial membership, but don't worry: it won't be charged.
  • Look for help at the Trails.com 'Help' page (see Resources below) if you get lost trying to find trails by name on Trails.com.
  • Make sure you clear your Web browser's history and cache if you use your credit card to make an online transaction. Check in your browser's 'Help' index if you need a hand doing this.
  • Keep your account information secret, even from people you trust. Never tell anyone your password, disable any options to remember your login information if you're working on a shared computer and always log out when you're finished your session.
