Find a New Fishing Hole Using Trails.com

Step1
Open the Trails.com homepage in your Web browser (see Resources below).
Step2
Log yourself in if you have an active account by entering your email address and password in the indicated fields. You can also access these fields by clicking the 'Log In' link.
Step3
Consider signing up for a free account if you don't already have membership. Click the 'Start a Free Account' link and follow the simple steps to complete the registration form.
Step4
Scroll through the Trails.com homepage until you find the 'Outdoor Activities' section.
Step5
Find the 'Fishing Spots' link and click on it. Note that there is a separate link for fly-fishing, titled 'Fly-Fishing Waters,' if that's what you're looking for.
Step6
Browse the list on the 'Fishing–Places to Fish' page, to which you'll be redirected. Find fishing spots in the desired region by scrolling through the list and clicking on the link corresponding to the area in which you wish to find fishing spots.
Step7
Select a link from the region's fishing page. For example, if you clicked 'Minnesota Fishing,' you'll be taken to the 'Minnesota Fishing–Minnesota Places To Fish' page, from which you can expand or narrow your search criteria or simply browse a list of places to fish in Minnesota.
Step8
Click on the link of a fishing spot to be taken to that spot's Trails.com page. You'll read an overview of the fishing spot and find links to directions to reach it and options for learning more.
