Search for Skiing Trails by Keyword

1. Launch your Web browser. Go to Trails.com's homepage (see Resources below).
2. Log in using your email address and your carefully-guarded password. You don't have to have a membership to search the database, but it's recommended if you want the most comprehensive information available.
3. Locate the 'Trail Finder' link on the homepage. Click on it to go to the 'Trail Descriptions & Trail Maps' page.
4. Search for skiing trails in the United States by clicking on a state on the map displayed. You can also search in Canada by clicking on the link beneath the 'Select A State On The Map Or A Link Below' heading. A host of other search options are available.
5. Click on the 'Zip or Keyword Search' link. Enter 'skiing' in the keyword field and click 'Search' (or 'Advanced Search' to refine your results). A list of trails tagged with the keyword 'skiing' will appear on a new page.

6. Select a geographic region by clicking on its corresponding search link. A new page will appear with the title '[Region] Trails & [Region] Trail Maps.'
7. Look for the '[Region] Outdoor Activities' heading.
8. Scan the list of available activities under the 'Snow Sports Activities' subheading. Follow any links leading to skiing-related activities.
9. Refine your search by selecting a more specific area within your region from the list to which you will be redirected. From there, you will find listings for skiing trails in your chosen area.
