Technorati uses the term 'authority' to describe blogs that have a lot of users linking to them. Thus, the more users, the higher the blog's authority. If you want to see what all the fuss is about by linking to the most popular blogs in cyberspace, you're in luck. Technorati has a built-in feature that allows you to do exactly that.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sign up for a Technorati account if you anticipate becoming a regular user. Though you don't require an account to search for and link to blogs, membership offers regulars added features and additional tools.
  • Clear all personal information, such as stored passwords, from your computer when you log out of Technorati and any other site with login access. This is particularly important if your search for blogs with high authority on Technorati is being conducted from a shared computer.
