How to Add RSS Feeds To Your Flickr Account

RSS feeds make your Flickr account much easier to manage, and people can access your photos easier, too. With an RSS feed, your subscribers can check for new content very easily. Flickr provides RSS photostreams for discussions, groups and specific tags, so you can be sure that you are getting the freshest content every day.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer with Internet access
• Digital camera

Sign Into Flickr With Your Yahoo! ID

1. Enter the Flickr home page and click on the "Sign In" link (see Resources below).
2. Type your Yahoo ID! and password in the fields indicated.
3. Click on the "Sign In" button to enter your Flickr account.

Get a Yahoo! ID

4. Enter the Flickr home page and click on the "Sign Up" button (see Resources below).
5. Click on the "Sign Up" link listed near "Don't Have A Yahoo! ID?"
6. Fill in the fields on the Yahoo! Registration form and read the Terms of Service.
7. Click on the "I Agree" button if you agree with Yahoo!'s Terms of Service and want to create your account.

Locate Your RSS Feeds

8. Enter the main page of your Flicker account.
9. Click on the link titled "Your Photos."
10. Scroll down on the main photo page to view your RSS feed, which is automatically added by Flickr to your account. Someone can click the "Subscribe" link to receive updates of your photos regularly.

Search for and Subscribe to Other Flickr Members

11. Click on the "Search" button and select the "Flickr Members" link.
12. Select your search preferences in the radio buttons. Choose from the "Names or Email Address" or "Interests" link.
13. Type your search keywords into the field.
14. Click the "Search" button.
15. Browse results by clicking on the thumbnail to enter the member's account.

Subscribe to Someone's RSS Feed of Photos

16. Enter the member's account and click the "Photo" link.
17. Locate the "RSS" button and click on the "Feed" link to add it.
18. Click on "Live Bookmarks" from the drop-down box.

Add Photos to the My Yahoo! Stream

19. Enter anyone's account and click the "Photo" link to see their photos and sets.
20. Find the "My Yahoo!" button and click it to add.
21. Confirm your request by clicking the "Add to My Yahoo!" button.
