How to Geotag A Photo On Flickr
Geotagging photos on Flickr can make them even easier for others to find online. Select countries or cities around the world to get your photograph identified by travelers and enthusiasts of the area. If you'd rather keep your geotags private, you can do that as well.

Add Your Photos to a Map on Organizr

Navigate to the Flickr home page and click on the "Sign Up" button (see Resources below).

Click on the "Organize" link on any Flickr page.

Click the "Maps" tab to begin geotagging your photos.

Select your default level of security from the prompt window. Choose one option from the radio buttons and click on the "Set Default Permission" button.

Click on the "OK" button in the prompt window.

Click sections of the map to focus in on one specific area.

Drag your photo's thumbnail over the specific map location where your photo was taken.

Verify your selection by clicking the "Yes, Go Ahead" button in the prompt window.
Change the Privacy for Your Geotag Photos

Click on "Maps" tab in your Organizr.

Locate the thumbnail of the photo on the map and click the "Edit" link.

Click the "Location" link in the pop-up window.

Select your new level of privacy from the radio buttons.

Click the "Save" button to save your changes.
Delete Your Geotagged Photos on Flickr

Click on the "Map" tab in your Organizr page.

Drag your photo from the map into your thumbnail collection of your photos.

Click "Yes, Go Ahead" when you receive the prompt, "Are You Sure You Want To Remove The Location Data From This Photo?"
Join the Geotagging Flickr Group

Click on the "Group" link on any Flickr page.

Search for a group by typing "geotagging" into the field and click the "Search" button.

Select the geotagging group of your interest by clicking on the titled link of the group.

Click the "Join This Group?" link.

Confirm your selection by clicking the "Join this Group" button.

Tips & Warnings
When geotagging your photos, try to close in on the location so that people can see where they were really taken.
If you want to change the location of your geotag, you can simply drag and drop it to a new location.
Setting a default privacy level for your geotagged photos can protect your privacy. You can still geotag single photos with other privacy levels.
