How to Contact a Seller on eBay
If you are an active eBay member, you know how important it is to ask questions before you buy something or place a bid. Even if a seller has given a lifelike description of the item and uploaded a dozen pictures of it from all possible angles, you may still have questions about its history or shipping options. This is why it's important to know how to contact a seller on eBay.

Head to eBay and sign in (see the Resources section below).

Search for an item you would like to buy by entering the appropriate terms in the search box.

Find an item you are interested in buying.

Click on the title of the item.

Click on 'Ask Seller a Question.'

Select a subject for your question from the choices in the drop-down menu. You may opt to ask a question about payment or shipping options, or a general question about the item.

Write your question in the box provided. You get 976 characters, so you can be a little wordy if you desire.

Indicate whether or not you want your email address made visible to the seller. You can check the box beside this option if you don't mind the seller seeing your email address. Otherwise, leave the box empty.

Check the box indicating whether you want a copy of the question you just wrote to be emailed to you. If you do not want this, leave the box empty.

Click 'Send.'
