Tips & Warnings
  • If you need further information regarding how to place a bid on eBay, go to the site's Help page.
  • eBay will inform you by email if someone outbids you. You will then have an opportunity to place a new, higher bid.
  • Remember that when you confirm your bid, you are creating a binding contract with the seller. According to the terms of this contract, you are agreeing to buy the item at the ending price of the auction if you are the winning bidder. Therefore, it is extremely important that you are certain you want this item at the price you are offering when you make your bid.
