How to Use Blogger for Word

Perhaps you are temporarily unable to access your blog, or you want to write your posts in a mmore familiar context. Either way, downloading Blogger for Word allows Blogger.com members to use Microsoft Word to create, edit and publish posts to their blogs.

Things You'll Need

• Microsoft Word 2000 or higher
• Email account
• Computer with Internet access

Instructions

Download the Blogger for Word Program

1. Go to the Blogger for Word home page (see the Resources section below).

2. Click on the 'Agree and Download' link to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy.

3. Choose the 'Run' link in the pop up window to begin downloading the program.

4. Select 'Run' again if the page informs you that the publisher could not be verified.

5. Choose 'Next' when the Installer window appears to continue with the download and installation of Blogger for Word.

6. Click the 'Yes' button to agree to the 'Terms and Conditions.'

7. Click on the 'Finish' button to finish the installation.

Open Microsoft Word and Use Blogger for Word on Your Computer

1. Access the new toolbar for Blogger for Word. The toolbar at the header of your Microsoft Word page will now have options that include 'Blogger Settings,' 'Open Post,' 'Save as Draft' and 'Publish.'

2. Sign in with your Blogger.com username and password and choose your settings to get started.

3. Create posts for your blog, save your posts as a draft, edit previous posts or publish your newly created posts directly to your blog on Blogger.com.
