How to Add a YouTube Video to Your MySpace Profile

YouTube and MySpace are two of the hottest social Web sites on the Internet, and with good reason. One is a huge database of video content, the other is a social networking powerhouse. It's easy to add a YouTube video to your profile on MySpace.

    1. Add Other Peoples' Videos to Your MySpace Page

        Go to the YouTube home page (see the Resources section below).

        Look through the database of videos and locate the content you wish to add. You can browse by content title or type, or view the featured videos. Click on the 'History' link on the home page if you want to quickly access videos you've recently viewed.

        Copy the entire video URL from the address bar.

        Find the 'About This Video' section.

        Copy the code from the 'Embed' box for the selected video.

        Log in to your MySpace profile from the MySpace home page.

        Click on 'Edit Profile'.

        Paste the video code into the section of your profile you want the video to appear in.

      I'm not sure why it tells us to first copy the link then copy the embed code. I tried copying the embed code into the About me section on myspace and it didnt work. I tried copying the url link into the about me section and that didnt work either.
