How to Add a YouTube Video to Your MySpace Profile

YouTube and MySpace are two of the hottest social Web sites on the Internet, and with good reason. One is a huge database of video content, the other is a social networking powerhouse. It's easy to add a YouTube video to your profile on MySpace.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer and Internet connection
• MySpace profile
• YouTube video or videos

Add Other Peoples' Videos to Your MySpace Page

1. Go to the YouTube home page (see the Resources section below).

2. Look through the database of videos and locate the content you wish to add. You can browse by content title or type, or view the featured videos. Click on the 'History' link on the home page if you want to quickly access videos you've recently viewed.

3. Copy the entire video URL from the address bar.

4. Find the 'About This Video' section.

5. Copy the code from the 'Embed' box for the selected video.

6. Log in to your MySpace profile from the MySpace home page.

7. Click on 'Edit Profile'.

8. Paste the video code into the section of your profile you want the video to appear in.

9. Click 'Save Changes.'

10. Load the YouTube homepage.

11. Click 'My Account.'

12. Select which of your videos you wish to embed and click the 'Edit Video' link.

13. Copy the entire video embed code.

14. Log in to your MySpace account. Edit your profile by clicking 'Edit Profile.' Paste the video embed code you just copied into your MySpace profile and click 'Save Changes.'

• You must be a MySpace registered member to post videos on your page. It is not possible to post videos on other people's profiles.
