How to Edit or Delete Resumes on Yahoo! Hotjobs

A well-written resume can make or break your chances of landing that perfect job. On Yahoo! HotJobs, you can create, upload and store different resumes geared for specific job titles and industries. What's more, the Yahoo! HotJobs account manager allows you to edit or delete your resumes as needed.

Edit Resumes on Yahoo! HotJobs

1. Go the Yahoo! home page (see the Resources section below).
2. Click on the link to 'Sign In' to your account.
3. Enter your Yahoo! user name and password, then click the 'Sign In' link.
4. Navigate to the 'HotJobs' link and click on it.
5. 'Click on the 'My Resumes' tab.
6. Select the resume you wish to edit by clicking the 'Edit' link next to it.
7. Choose the section of the resume you wish to edit.
8. Click on 'Submit Changes' when you're finished editing your resume, or click 'Continue' to edit your employment profile.

Edit an Uploaded Resume

9. Complete steps one through six as outlined above.
10. Click on one of the links to 'Download to my computer:'--either in MS Word or Plain Text format.
11. Make the appropriate changes to your resume offline using your word processor and save it to your hard drive.
12. Click on the 'Upload Replacement' link to upload the edited resume. (Note that the resume will be given the same name as the previous version.)
13. Locate the file on your computer, then click the 'Upload' button.

Delete Resumes on Yahoo! HotJobs

14. Follow steps one through six above.
15. Locate the name of the resume you wish to delete from your list of stored resumes.
16. Click on the link that says 'Delete' next to the name of the resume. (Note that if you wish to delete more than one resume, you will need to repeat this step for each resume.)
