Yahoo! HotJobs allows users to search though thousands of job postings nationwide. At this site, you can do a quick search, or use more advanced features to search for jobs by category, desired salary and employer.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer with Internet access

Conduct a Basic Job Search on Yahoo! HotJobs

1. Open the Yahoo! home page in your browser (see the Resources section below).

2. Click on the 'HotJobs' link.

3. Begin your search for jobs by entering keywords to search (i.e., 'secretary' or 'retail'), your city and state, and a job category. Note that it is not necessary to fill out all of these options, but doing so will make your search more specific.

4. Click the 'Search' button to start your job search.

Perform an Advanced Job Search on Yahoo! HotJobs

5. Click on the 'HotJobs' link from the Yahoo! home page.

6. Click on the 'Job Search' tab.

7. Click on the 'Advanced Job Search' link.

8. Fill in as many search criteria as you wish. Note that there are several options available, including Boolean search strings to allow you to narrow your search. You may also choose up to three job categories and two locations.

9. Click the 'Search' button to start your advanced job search.

Search for International Jobs on Yahoo! HotJobs

10. Visit the Yahoo! home page.

11. Click on the link for 'HotJobs.'

12. Click on the 'Search International Jobs' link.

13. Select the country you wish to search. You may also include specific keywords in your search, if desired.

14. Click the 'Search' button to begin your international job search.

• It is not necessary to have a Yahoo! ID or a Yahoo! HotJobs Account to search for jobs on Yahoo! HotJobs. You must sign in, however, if you plan to upload and store your resume on Yahoo! HotJobs.
